Appearance: A very dark brown front and back, with light brown plumage. He has black wings and a dark brown face.
Personality: He is smart, though slightly insane. (all of the problems he had explained in the history) He cares much for his little sister, and will protect her no matter what. He doesn't care much for war, but will fight if necessary.

Species: Tasmanian Masked Owl
Age: 4 months
Appearance: Almost opposite to Maven, she is light brown with chestnut wings and a light brown face. She is getting darker often, and is more black than brown. She is very strong for her age and size.
Personality: She is very smart and is quite curious. She sometimes has a dark personality, but is most often cheerful.
History with each other: When Maven was only 4 months old, his parents had abandoned him. He was stuck in his hollow for days, as he couldn't fly anyway. After three days, two crows had noticed him and flew into his hollow. They discussed what to do with him while he stood in the corner, terrified out of his mind.
After a few minutes of debate, they decided to adopt him. They fed him, nursed him, and taught him how to fly. When he was 7 months old, his parents were killed by a wandering owl. Enraged, Maven hunted him down, took his blade and killed the owl. He flew around the forest, furious. Eventually, he found a cave with a very large, black stone. He felt an incredible presence near the stone. He closed his eyes, and saw a giant crowish bird. He began to calm down and started thinking of what to do. He flew to a ledge above the rock. On the wall near the ledge, just above it, there was writing. Maven had never learned to read, so he had no idea what it said. After much thinking, he decided to go to the Ga'hoole Tree, to find somebody to read it. When he arrived, he talked to a guard, and found a scholar. He led the scholar and brought him to the Stone. He told the scholar to read the cave etchings. The scholar pointed out it was Krakish. When he read the letters "Hagsfiend", the scholar started to feel nervous. He told Maven what it meant, and Maven had no idea what a hagsfiend was. When the scholar told him, he was amazed. The scholar said they needed to travel back to the Ga'hoole Tree, but a voice in Maven's head said "Don't let him!". When the scholar turned his back to Maven, he stabbed him in the back, killing him instantly. The voice then said "Spread the blood". Maven tried spreading the blood on the Stone, which sucked up the blood like a sponge. "More blood, more blood". Maven thought of who he could kill, and then remembered his parents. Yes, he would kill his parents. He flew around the forest, checking every hollow for his mother or father. And then, he found his mom, sitting on a nest, on an egg! They didn't want a owlet, they just didn't want him! He flew in and slayed his mother, and waited for his father. When his father arrived, he killed him to. He hacked at their bodies to cover his sword in blood, and flew back to the stone to pour it on. He traveled back to his parent's hollow. He thought to himself "If I was to make a... Stone Cult, I need some followers...". He landed in the hollow and picked up the nest with the egg in it. He flew back to the cave and took care of the egg, and then soon, his baby sister, who he named Farah.
She grew at an incredible rate, and learned how to read fast. While Maven was near the Stone, he felt enlightened. It "helped" him learn how to read and write, and same with Farah. Now, Maven has a few dozen "Stone Monks", who follow the Stone. Maven has not had to worry about violence for a while, and has been branded as a "peaceful religion" by the Guardians. For now, the Guardians do not worry about war with this new "Stone Order".

I appreciate the sentiment, and I'd love to have you do something, but as of now I don't think it would help to decorate an inactive forum
